I have been drinking GT’s Kombucha for over 6 years and realized I have yet to mention it on the blog. It is an acquired taste for some, but I find it extremely refreshing.

Each flavor is a little different, but the one I am drinking today contains kombucha (tea based), hibiscus, orange peel, chamomile, and ginger. You can find kombucha at Whole Foods (they have a few different brands, I believe) and lots of other smaller stores around SF. They even sell it at the Farm Fresh to You in the Ferry Building (for your SF’ers)!

From their website:
“Some call it a tea, some call it an elixir, but no matter what you call it, Kombucha is a miracle, and it’s been used around the world for centuries to help promote health and wellness. Our bodies have within them a healing potential stronger than any drug or treatment, and we nourish this potential with the pure and simple foods found in nature. Foods like fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds. Foods like Kombucha; a gift we’re proud to share with you. 100% raw and organic, Kombucha nourishes the body, delights your taste buds, bolsters your immunity, and makes your spirits fly. You feel on top of the world. Healthier. Happier. Stronger. It is living food for a living body. And its purpose is my mission:

“To combine the wisdom of ancient medicinal foods with the resources of the modern day to create products that uplift and enlighten the health of all those who enjoy them.”
-GT Dave “

A big thumbs up to GT’s Kombucha for making this amazing product!
Disclaimer: I was not asked or paid by GT’s Kombucha to review their product. I just love these drinks so much I thought I would share πŸ™‚

  1. I've been curious about this beverage for so long. I tried the WF kombucha bar & it was not tasty to me. I tried another brand (I forget the name) and wasn't impressed. I really want to like this drink but I haven't found a flavor or a brand that I like. Maybe I will try GT.
